RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURE

Glass is Boring

Kombumerri Country, “Gold Coast QLD”

Glass is Boring is an adaptive reuse of a garage on the Gold Coast, designed to suit a subtropical climate. It was built almost entirely by a single carpenter experienced in timber construction, and Winsor Kerr didn't handle contract administration. Documentation stayed relatively minimal throughout.

It's a good example of what's possible with the right contractors on a project that has a tight deadline, a tight budget, and real site restrictions.
