Glen Waverley Civic Precinct

Wurundjeri Country, "Glen Waverley"

Working closely with the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Aunties, Lyons, GLAS, and council representatives, Winsor Kerr has embedded First Nations knowledge systems and Wurundjeri-specific living cultural values into the design and planning of the Glen Waverley Civic Precinct from the start.

The work has included providing insight on Indigenous place-making, facilitating meaningful engagement with the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Aunties, and advocating for outcomes that reflect Wurundjeri Country's cultural and environmental values. Winsor Kerr has contributed to strategies for cultural expression, ecological restoration, and storytelling across the precinct, ensuring the architectural and urban response is grounded in Country.
